IARP Conference The International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) will hold its 2008 Life Care Planning Summit at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles May 15-18.

Work Comp Forum The Florida Bar’s Annual Workers Compensation Forum will be held April 23-25 at the Walt Disney World
Swan Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL. The workers’ compensation section of the Florida Bar will welcome adjusters, supervisors, managers and executives of the claims industry.
The highest professional certification in the industry, “Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Litigation Adjusters and the CWCL designation will be available. Candidates are require to meet certain qualifications and criteria in order to gain and retain status as a CWCL.

Pain Conference HealthSouth Sunrise Rehabilitation Hospital presents the 11th Annual Comprehensive Pain Conference, “Navigating Cost-Effective Pain Management”, on Saturday, April 26.
The conference will once again be held at the Marriott Heron Bay in Coral Springs. The program begins at 7 a.m. with registration and breakfast. Judges to be Nominated On April 25, the statewide nominating committee for Judges of Compensation Claims will meet at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport, for the purpose of interviewing judges for reappointment.
Those who wish to speak at the committee meeting must provide notice to the committee chairman and each committee members in writing no later than April 9. A listing of SNCJCC members is provided at www.doah.state.fl.us and the Florida Bar web site at www.floridabar.org.
Early Bird Opportunity for Travel Conference The World Congress presented by the Society for Accessible Travel and Hospitality (SATH) is offering an “early bird” special for those who wish to register for the 2009 conference to be held Jan. 6-9, 2009 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando.
