Southern Association of Workers' Comp Administrators Winter Conference held

Executive Board Members of the Southern Association of Workers’ Compensation Administrators (SAWCA) send their best wishes for the holidays. Attending the Winter Meeting in Naples, FL, Dec. 2-5, were from left: Betty Reid, RN, President of Rehabilitation Advisors in Orlando, FL; Karl Aumann, Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Commission in Maryland; Mary Ahern, Executive Director of the Maryland Work Comp Commission and Past President of SAWCA, William L. (Bill) Dudley Jr. Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commissioner, Current President of SAWCA and Kathy Oliver, of the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation - Past President of SAWCA. The Southern Association of Workers' Compensation Administrators (SAWCA) held their winter meeting in Naples, FL, Dec. 2-5 with representations attending to discuss developments in the work comp laws of their respective states.
The organization provides networking opportunities and is growing as the world of workers' compensation becomes smaller. The annual Florida Work Comp Conference features a breakout on the Southeastern States as does the Georgia Workers' Compensation Conference.
The annual conference will be held in Destin, FL July 21-24.
