Risk Managers Conference in Orlando
The Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS) will welcome professionals from across the country to Florida April 19-23 for the organization's annual conference being held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. With an "early bird" registration date of Feb. 20 attendees can save on the conference.
The conference opens with a reception on April 19 with the full general session getting under way the following day. On Monday, April 20 the annual awards luncheon will be held followed by afternoon workshops. The conference features an exhibit hall Visit www.rims.org for details.
Florida Self Insurers Winter Meeting Held
The Florida Association of Self Insurance (FASI) is holding its winter conference Jan. 29-30 at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary. The meeting offers a forum for members to address concerns they might have and to network with colleagues. This year also marks FASI's 40th anniversary educational conference and trade show which will be held July 19-22 at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples. Visit www.fasi-fl.org.
