It is a new year and look for a new "face" and new role for the Workers' Compensation Claims Professionals (WCCP) organization. This is the 20th anniversary year for WCCP and the year is starting off with a membership drive.
The WCCP, on its revamped website, reminds adjusters, case managers and their employers that the membership brings with an opportunity for education and professional development, an opportunity to network with peers and develop business opportunities.
Most importantly, the 20th anniversary message maintains that membership in WCCP is an important reminder that those working in the "challenging claims environment" are not alone, "that someone is out there working on your behalf to help and support you."
Beginning this year, the WCCP plans to be active in the legislative and regulatory process and has several objectives in its sights.

Members will see a new look to the interactive website featuring secure online membership renewals, self-managed member profiles, online event registration, job boards and resume listings, newscasts, blogging and other features.
