Florida Spine Specialists Practice Opened
Kalman Blumberg, MD, Kevin Cairns, MD, and Harold Dalton, DO, have announced their new practice, Florida Spine Specialists. The 14,000 square foot building is located at 6000 Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
With over fourty years of experience treating the spinal injuries of Florida’s workers, the physicians said they are committed to providing the compassionate, caring, and efficient surgical and non-surgical treatment their patients have come to expect.
The new facility features a state-of-the-art procedure room, complete with pre op and recovery areas. The OEC fluoroscopy unit allows detailed visualization to allow precise placement of the needle tip for both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Advanced safety and monitoring equipment are designed to ensure the patients comfort and safe outcome.
The Physical Therapy Department provides the latest equipment and the therapists have expertise in treating the most complicated of spinal conditions, said Dr. Blumberg. The Therapy Department only treats spinal conditions and is dedicated to providing the most effective treatments available, he added.
The new D-R x-ray system is an advanced system designed to minimize x-ray exposure to the patient while providing the sharpest digital image technically available. The latest technology is seen in both the PACS system used to display images of all types for patient education, as well as in the electronic medical records systems.
